“One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach; all the damn vampires,” Join us on a journey to Santa Carla, where we follow two teenage brothers who move with their divorced mother to the fictional Californian town, only to discover that it is a haven for vampires. The Lost Boys (1987) was directed by Joel Schumacher and stars Jason Patric and Corey Haim as the brothers, alongside Kiefer Sutherland as the film’s iconic vampire leader. The title refers to the Lost Boys from J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan stories, who, much like vampires, never grow old.
