About this Event

Rosedale Training has been delivering Loss and Grief Training to organisations, charities, and individuals for over three years. The purpose of this training is to equip participants with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to effectively support individuals experiencing grief.

Understanding Grief

Grief is not limited to bereavement after death. It can also result from:

  • Loss of employment
  • Illness
  • Separation or divorce
  • Unmet or lost opportunities
  • Other significant life changes

What the Training Covers

  • The emotional impact of grief
  • Practical, evidence-based approaches to supporting grieving individuals
  • Helpful, tested techniques that can be applied in real-life situations
  • Recognising when additional support is needed
  • Guidance on appropriate signposting to further services

Training Approach

  • Interactive and discussion-based
  • Delivered in a safe and supportive environment
  • Participation is always optional
  • No pressure to share personal experiences

Why This Training Matters

Grief is a universal human experience. Effective early support can:

  • Help individuals cope more effectively
  • Reduce the need for additional services
  • Strengthen personal and professional support networks

Outcomes for Participants

  • Increased confidence in supporting others
  • Practical tools and techniques
  • Ability to compassionately support a family member, friend, or colleague
