LOSCIL ist das elektronische Musikprojekt des kanadischen Komponisten und Multimedia-Künstlers Scott Morgan. Seit über 20 Jahren hat Morgan unter dem Namen LOSCIL ein umfangreiches Werk aufgebaut, das sich stilistisch zwischen Ambient, klassischer und elektroakustischer Musik bewegt.
Im Mai 2025 kehrt LOSCIL mit Lake Fire zurück – einem neunteiligen Werk voller aschegetränkter Klanglandschaften, die die Spannung im Kreislauf von Zerstörung und Erneuerung ausloten. Lake Fire ist das Ergebnis eines fragmentierten kreativen Prozesses. Das Ergebnis gleicht einem Phönix: ein Album, das niedergebrannt und aus seiner eigenen Asche neu zusammengesetzt wurde. // Patricia Wolf ist Musikerin, Sounddesignerin und Field Recordist und lebt in Portland, Oregon. Ihre Arbeit vereint auf klangliche Weise die natürliche und die moderne Welt, indem sie ökologische Klangquellen in ihre minimalistischen elektronischen Kompositionen integriert. Mit Melodien und Wiederholungen zieht sie die Hörer*innen in einen hypnotischen Innenraum, in dem sie lebendige Klangtexturen und Atmosphären mit emotionaler Tiefe erschafft.

LOSCIL is the electronic music project of Canadian composer and multimedia artist Scott Morgan. For over 20 years, Morgan has built a robust catalogue of work under the LOSCIL moniker, loosely spanning the genres of ambient, classical and electroacoustic music.
In May 2025 LOSCIL returns with Lake Fire, a nine-track offering of ash-laden sonics that mine the tension within the cycle of destruction and rejuvenation. Lake Fire is the result of a disjointed creative process. The result is a phoenix, an album burnt to the ground only to be reassembled out of its cinders. // Patricia Wolf is a musician, sound designer, and field recordist residing in Portland, Oregon. Wolf’s work sonically unites natural and modern worlds, integrating ecological sources into her minimalist electronic compositions. Using melody and repetition she lures listeners to her hypnotic inner space, conjuring vivid textures and atmospheres imbued with emotion.
