Los Straitjackets are masters of the 'combo sound-' the two guitar, bass and drums lineup pioneered and popularized by the early Beatles. Using the music of the Ventures, The Shadows, Link Wray and Dick Dale as a jumping off point, the band has taken their unique, high energy brand of instrumental rock & roll around the world for thirty years. Wearing their trademark Lucha Libre Mexican wrestling masks, Los Straitjackets have also served as the backing band for Nick Lowe since 2016. Their latest release, Somos Los Straitjackets demonstrates why Los Straitjackets have reigned as the kings of modern instrumental rock for over thirty years with shimmering tremolo, relentless drum grooves, and hooks so catchy they don’t need lyrics to get stuck in your head.
Wasted Major is a dynamic and genre-bending band that blends the classic sounds of 60s and 70s rock with a dose of 90s country and honky-tonk flair. Formed in Knoxville, TN, and now based in Nashville, the band plays over 200 shows annually across the United States and Europe. The band’s extensive touring has earned them some early recognition, including two (2) European tours and a nomination for International Band of the Year by the Austrian Country Music Federation.
Consisting of Tim Jones (Guitar/Vocals), Simon Heeran (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Richie Miller (Bass/Vocals), Connor Hatala (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and Andre Bucks (Keyboard/Vocals), Wasted Major stands apart with their multi-vocal lineup, allowing for an ever-changing live performance. Their tight harmonies and undeniable chemistry have earned them a loyal following, ranging from honky-tonk nights on Nashville’s iconic Lower Broadway to large stages across the southeastern U.S to European pubs and festivals.
