Los Angeles Women's March - Poster Party

MEETING LOCATION:

• Heretic House: 724 E Edgeware Rd, Los Angeles CA
• Heretic House is a 130-year-old Victorian mansion, famously owned by atheist activist, Bobbie Kirkhart.
• Free street parking is available

MEETING TIME:

• 8:00 AM - 9:20 AM
• Leave for the march no later than 9:30 AM (30-40 minute walk and march starts at 10 AM)

DETAILS:

• Coffee and donuts will be provided by Atheists United (donations welcome)
• Basic poster supplies will be provided
• Bring your own poster supplies to share (no paint or glitter allowed in the house, but you can use them on the sidewalk)
• No dogs allowed in the house
• Please dress for the weather and march (sunscreen, sneakers, hats, etc.)
• The walk from Heretic House to Los Angeles City Hall is 1.3 miles (slightly longer to Pershing Square).
• If you’re unable to walk with the group please plan your own transportation.
• Free Atheists United stickers for all attendees

In 2017, we came together to march, resist, and fight for a future that values women’s rights, immigrant rights, LGBTQ+ equality, and justice for our communities and planet. Here we are in 2024, standing at another pivotal moment in history. With Donald Trump re-elected for a second term, the stakes have only gotten higher, and the need for bold resistance is more urgent than ever.

That’s why we’re calling on you to join us once again for the People’s March in Los Angeles on January 18, 2025. Together, we will send a LOUD and CLEAR message that we will not go quietly into the night. We will resist. We will persist. And we will organize.
