About this Event
Deborah Gregory is a longstanding board member of Ballona Creek Renaissance and a staunch protector of the wetlands and local ecosystems. As a passionate advocate for the creek’s preservation, Gregory will highlight her role in the groundbreaking Ballona Creek Interceptor project, which has removed over 125 tons of waste from the waterway before it can reach the ocean. With a background in interior architecture and sustainability, Gregory is also the Director of Design at DIGBAR Interiors & Architecture in Del Rey, where she integrates eco-friendly solutions into her architectural practice.
This presentation will offer valuable insights into the intersection of urban development, environmental advocacy, and community engagement.
The Los Angeles Institute for the Humanities is a cross-disciplinary, intellectual center sponsored by USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences.
