Loreto Aramendi Recital, Lunch, and Tour

Kick off our 11th year of recitals with international concertist and main organist of the Cavaillé-Coll organ(1863) of the Basilique of Santa María del Coro. She has given numerous recitals at international festivals in USA, Japan, Canada, Argentina, Moscow and most of European countries performing in places like Opera City Hall of Tokyo, National Auditorium of Madrid (Bach-Vermut), Notre Dame of Paris, Hallgrímskikja in Reykjavik, Saint Patricks Cathedral of New York, Moscow Cathedral, Auditorium of Stavanger.

Join the Historic Organ Restoration Committee and Loreto following the noon recital for a catered lunch and an opportunity to meet Loreto. Following lunch, ticketholders will enjoy a special private Curator’s Tour with opportunities to see areas not included on the regular tour - Galleries I & II (undergoing active restoration) and Galleries III & IV (awaiting restoration). This unique look into the Galleries of the organ will demonstrate the ongoing progress of the Midmer-Losh organ, as well as show some of the incredible devistation we have awaiting us in the near future.
