A hilarious spin on Tolkien’s epic trilogy.
Calling all elves, orcs and halflings! Buckle up for a glorious, laugh a minute journey into Middle Earth (and back again), as three actors and a musician attempt the impossible: Retelling the entire series in one outrageous live experience!
Complete with battles, LOTR bingo and a banging early noughties soundtrack, expect an evening filled with irreverent delight. After repeated sell-out seasons across Christchurch and Centrepoint Theatre, revel in the one unauthorised parody to rule them all!
Whether you're a Tolkien newbie or a super-fan, you shall not pass on the opportunity to catch this show in action at Q Theatre... In a version that delivers live music, ridiculous impersonations, and justice for Tom Bombadil!
📣 “A hugely entertaining and well-produced show... quality madcap fantasy comedy” – Flat City Field Notes
📣 “Hilarious, fast-paced and gloriously unhinged... you’d be mad not to go and see it” – Backstage Christchurch
📣 “If it’s a night of boisterous and entertaining comedy that you’re after, book your ticket now and get ready to go on an unexpected journey.” —Theatreview
