Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Melody Graves Quintet: First Ladies of JazzMelody Graves is a unique voice on the Meanjin jazz scene carving out her own style and sound, and if you closed your eyes, you might just believe you were listening to an old gramophone record.
Inspired by the early jazz and blues music of New Orleans, big band swing and vocalists like Billie Holiday, Bessie Smith, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan – Melody Graves is backed by some of Brisbane’s most talented jazz musicians in a special quintet performance for this Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert.
