Loose Screws' Paper Mache Workshop

Loose Screws Studio shows you how to start paper-mache projects using recycled materials. Learn three simple ways to make paper mache paste, along with methods to sculpt cardboard and recycled materials into pliable shapes.

In this 3 hour class, we will be creating paper flowers while discussing ways to incorporate sustainability in our art practice. This workshop is beginner friendly, designed for kids and young adults 16-30, and requires no previous experience with paper mache.

Loose Screws will provide all materials, but students are welcome to bring supplies of their own. Additionally, participants will walk away with a How-To Paper Mache zine to be used as a helpful refresher for their next project.
