About this Event
Walking your dog shouldn’t feel like a tug-of-war. This February, we’re focusing on Loose Leash Love—building calm, connected walks where you and your dog move together as a team.
This event is all about teaching dogs how to walk politely, not forcing them to behave. We’ll show you how to create a clear reinforcement zone at your side, encourage natural check-ins, and handle pulling in a way that actually makes sense to your dog.
What we’ll work on:
- Reinforcement zone and engagement at your side
- “Let’s go” cues and smooth starts
- Stopping strategies that reduce pulling
- Auto check-ins and connection on the leash
All levels welcome:
- Beginner: Short, successful loose-leash walks in a quiet space with frequent rewards
- Intermediate: Figure-8s, direction changes, and passing people or dogs at a distance
- Advanced: Heeling games and patterned walking around real-world distractions
Whether your dog is brand new to the leash or just needs more consistency around distractions, this session will give you practical tools you can use immediately on everyday walks.
Come build better walks—and a better relationship—one step at a time.
