How fast can you loop Lake Lorraine on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) or kayak? Need a bigger challenge? Add a one mile run after your paddle for the Biathlon or do the Paddle + 5K!The 5th Annual Loop the Lake features timed races on SUPs or kayaks plus the a biathlon option, with great prizes for the top racers in each category. Categories include:
• SUP
• Kayak
• SUP OR Kayak + Biathlon (one-mile run)
• Paddle 5K (SUP OR Kayak plus a 3.1 mile run)
• Megalodon (GIANT paddleboard for 4-6 people)
August features BOGO pricing — register one racer at full price and get a second racer registration at 50% off!
All race participants will be assigned a heat/race time. Walk-up registration will be accepted if space allows. Check-in for all races is at 1 p.m. and races begin in at 2 p.m.
All activities will take place on the south side of Lake Lorraine along the Lake Walk. Don't want to race? No problem! Come out and enjoy a beautiful day at the lake!
