Knoxville, listen up — we’ve got something special happening for our seniors.
On Friday, July 10th, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM, seniors in the Knoxville community are invited to a day of service, fellowship, and FREE haircuts at the Emerald Haslam-Sansom Ministry Complex, located at 1740 Texas Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee.
This is more than just a haircut. This is about dignity. This is about connection. This is about letting our seniors know they are seen, valued, and loved.
Haircuts will be provided by student stylists from the Douglas J Institute, under the supervision of instructor Precious Polk.
This community event is made possible through partnership with Oak Street Health, HealthSpring, New Direction, WJBE, Emerald Haslam-Sansom Ministry Complex, Douglas J Institute, and Lapis Insurance Solutions.
