Peter runs the German office of a British car company whilst also operating as a secret agent, waiting on the delivery of secret plans for a revolutionary innovation to the future of the car industry.
This is simple enough - until his wife keeps popping in unexpectedly, his mistress turns up wanting some hanky-panky and a scantily clad female singing telegram arrives.
Things are compounded when another secret agent, the threatening Mr Cadwallader, appears on the doorstep follwed later by the troublesome Ms Tregunter-Jones.
Will the secret plans fall into the wrong hands or will everyone have a happy ending?
