Cobra | Bloomfield | Ages 21+The Night Shift returns on April 19th with an InnerSound takeover! Our friends at InnerSound have been throwing incredible parties of their own around the city focused on deep, hypnotic techno grooves and progressive house sounds. We're thrilled to team up with them for a night so we can bring their atmospheric and melodic sounds to Cobra.
Leading the charge will be Sertac Sahin, a longtime favorite whose progressive and melodic house selections have captivated our dance floor on numerous occasions. Joining him is fellow InnerSound artist Jen Nunez, whose genre-blending sets have made her previous appearances truly memorable. Representing Longturn will be our own Koopmusik, whose deep, driving sound perfectly complements the evening's melodic journey.
Consider this your standing invite. Clock into the weekend: Cobra Lounge, every Saturday.

Koopmusik, or Koop for short, is an emerging producer and DJ based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His passion for music and obsessive curiosity to explore the globe after college led him to countless clubs and festivals around the world, helping cultivate his characteristic sounds. Koopmusik draws heavy influences ranging from progressive & organic house to deep tech/minimal, indie dance, & melodic techno yet always balancing melody, emotion, and groove. Despite the broader range of melodic stylings, one thing for certain is Koopmusik doesn’t veer too far away from something that “thumps”.
Not seeing much change in his local scene over the years, Koopmusik decided to make that change happen himself in 2017 and bring the experiences he found worldwide to his hometown through his company, Longturn Music. Whether he’s putting on an event or playing a DJ set on stage, Koopmusik is always telling a story, making connections with the people around him, and helping them escape their reality, wishing it never had to end.
Koopmusik has been called upon over the years to support the likes of Chris Lake, Jody Wisternoff, Justin Martin, Nora En Pure, Hozho, Amtrac, Eli Escobar, Enamour, EDX, Simon Doty, Oona Dahl, Rodriguez Jr., HoneyLuv, Nhii, Rinzen, Audiojack, Nick Curly and more. When live events shut down in 2020, he began his production journey in the studio. Already seeing results with releases on the likes of Data Transmission, Andhera Records, Fruity Recordings, Deep Tech Recordings, MK837, Club Rapture, Suprematic Sounds, and Sounds of Khemit.
Since then he has been booked to play in Columbus, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Washington D.C., Portland, Denver, St. Louis, San Diego, Costa Rica, Tulum, and has been a mainstay at the Air Stage at Elements Music & Arts Festival the past four years.
The hype in the region surrounding Koopmusik through the experiences he creates with DJ sets, productions, his radio show (ReKooperate Radio), or events he puts on continues to grow as he isn’t slowing down any time soon.
Longturn Music welcomes everybody and has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, unwelcome physical contact, or any brand of bigoted behavior. If anyone at a Longturn event is making you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or if you witness anything of the sort, we encourage you to speak with the door staff or our team members. We’ll believe you, and we’ll help.
In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
Come early, stay late, dance hard ⚒️
