About this Event
On Sunday 22nd September 2024 we will be heading to the Longshaw Estate in the Peak District. This ramble is supported by Craghoppers. There will be Photos and videos being taken throughout this ramble for there promotional material so please be aware of this before booking. Longshaw has been owned by the National Trust since 1931, after being first bought by the people of Sheffield in 1928. It is part of the larger National Trust Peak District Estate and is run along with the High (Dark) Peak Estate and White Peak Estate.
The route has been tried and tested and is approximately 6km long with some steep hill climbs. It is at an altitude of over 1000 feet and the weather can quickly change, so please wear and bring appropriate clothing. You should also bring a packed lunch and drinks!
