Advertisements on the TV and radio, Influencers streamed into our phones tell us to be happy, spend more, give more of ourselves. The holiday season can be overflowing with positive vibes and sickeningly sweet smiles, but for many of us this time of year can also include a deep sorrow.
This Advent, as we take time to pause and examine our fears and longings, we can make space for the absences and sorrows in our lives. Join us as we meet during the longest night of the year to name our longings and recognize that night is often darkest before beginning the long journey to morning. Join us as we take a moment to stand vigil for the hopes and fears this Christmas season.
