Long Road Sixth Form College Open Evenings

At Long Road Sixth Form College there's lots of choice: A levels, practical Diplomas, a mix of the two or GCSE re-sits. Whichever direction you take, as a member of our friendly, vibrant and dynamic community you can develop the skills, independence and focus you need to keep moving forward.

• You must book 1 ticket for each person attending the event, including parents/carers.

• To ensure our event is safe and enjoyable for everyone, we ask you to please book a preferred entry time slot and aim to arrive within this time slot where possible.

• Please have your tickets (either printed or digital) ready to check upon arrival

• Event opens: 5pm. Last entry: 8pm. Event closes: 9pm.

• On-campus parking is very limited. We encourage visitors to use our free shuttle buses where possible - see below for further details.

• You will be able to collect a hard-copy of our brand new 2023 Prospectus upon arrival!

Please ensure that you arrive within your 1 hour time slot as stated on your ticket.

• If you are travelling by car please be advised that very limited parking is available on our college campus.
• Our Estates team will direct you on where to park throughout the evening.

• We will be running free shuttle buses from both Babraham Park and Ride and Trumpington Park and Ride.

• Shuttle buses will drop off and collect passengers for their return journey from our side entrance/exit on Robinson Way.

First buses collect from Park & Ride sites at: 

• BUS A:  16:30 Trumpington Park & Ride > Long Road
• BUS B: 16:45 Trumpington Park & Ride > Long Road
• BUS C: 16:30 Babraham Park & Ride > Long Road
• BUS D: 16:45 Babraham Park & Ride > Long Road

Buses run approximately every 30 minutes until: 

• BUS B: 19:30 Trumpington Park & Ride > Long Road
• BUS A: 19:45 Trumpington Park & Ride > Long Road
• BUS D: 19:30 Babraham Park & Ride > Long Road
• BUS C: 19:45 Babraham Park & Ride > Long Road

Last buses leave Long Road at:

• BUS A: 20:45 Long Road > Trumpington Park & Ride
• BUS B: 21:00 Long Road > Trumpington Park & Ride
• BUS C: 20:45 Long Road > Babraham Park & Ride
• BUS D: 21:00 Long Road > Babraham Park & Ride

• The college is well-served by a number of local bus companies and located approximately 1.5 miles away from Cambridge Train Station.

Our very own on-campus Costa will be open all evening providing hot and cold drinks and snacks for your visit.
