Long Island Symphonic Choral Association presents Opera Choruses & More

Join us on Saturday, May 17th at 8PM for Long Island Symphonic Choral Association's spring performance: Opera Choruses & More! This enchanting evening of beautiful music will feature choruses from operas including Rossini's Guillaume Tell, Verdi's Il Trovatore, Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, and Leoncavallo's Pagliacci. Also on the program is a medley from Porgy and Bess, a collection of tunes by famous duos Gilbert & Sullivan, Lerner & Lowe, and Rodgers & Hammerstein, & additional works by Billy Joel and Steven Sondheim. This concert will also feature a solo performance by our 2025 High School Vocal Scholarship Competition winner! A reception with refreshments will follow the performance.
