Long Island Cool Cars for Kids Car Show

The Long Island Cool Cars for Kids Car Show returns! Join us on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at 1111 Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park, for our second annual car show fundraiser. Last year, over 500 show cars were on display, and we raised over $30,000 to support research and care for children with genetic conditions at Cohen Children’s—and we want to raise the bar this year!

100% of net proceeds benefit the Medical Genetics and Genomics Division at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. This fundraiser truly supports life-saving research and care for children with genetic conditions at Cohen Children’s, and the team at CCMC and Cool Cars for Kids, Inc. is so thankful for the Long Island car community’s support.

All car classes are welcome to register, including exotics, sports cars, muscle cars, luxury, classics, antiques, trucks, hot rods, and everything else that’s COOL!

In addition to our car show field, there will be a food truck corral, ice cream and cold beverages, music, awards, giveaways, vendor and sponsor booths, an emergency vehicle display, a kids’ fun zone, an RC car race track, and MUCH more!

This is a kid- and family-friendly event that supports local businesses while raising funds for an amazing cause.

To display your car in the show field, online registration is required before August 8, 2026, and we ask that you make a donation of your choice. Registration is open now, and the first 500 registered cars will be given priority entry. Spectators are free to enter. The rain date is the following Sunday, August 16.
