Join hundreds of families and kite enthusiast at the 13TH Annual Long Beach Kite Festival for a FREE day of breathtaking kites, vibrant culture, delicious food, Live Entertainment, and unforgettable memories by the beach.
Hosted by The Pacific Kite Club of California this annual celebration honors the Bangladeshi tradition of Shakrain, the Festival of Kites. whether you're fly your kite, enjoying the entertainment or simply soaking in the colorful skies, there is something for everyone.

� 500 FREE kites for kids and families while supplies last—register online in advance or sign up at the festival!)
� 300 FREE backpacks for children (first come, first served)
� Live Bangladeshi music & cultural performances
� Delicious food vendors
� Local vendors & shopping
� Games, contests, and fun activities for all ages—with prizes for our game winners!
� Event Schedule
1:00–2:15 PM – Games & activities (musical chairs, art contests & more)
2:30pm– Free kite distribution
3:30pm – Free backpack distribution (300 backpacks, first come, first served)
3:45–5:00 PM – Awards ceremony, followed by live Bangladeshi music & cultural dance performances
5:00–7:00 PM – Live music resumes
Admission is FREE, and everyone is welcome! Bring your family, invite your friends, and spend the day making unforgettable memories by the ocean.
