East Midwood, Brooklyn, 1950s. In a single room apartment, a lowly nightclub songwriter tries to compose the next hit. His neighbour interrupts him.

Lonesome Tonight (a night poem) is the latest play by Eli Fox and the first production of a new company dedicated to innovative and mysterious works from some of the most exciting emerging artists in Toronto.
