About this Event

The Emergent presents Lonely Planet by Steven Dietz, directed by Tonya Bludsworth.

Set in a small map store, this intimate and unexpectedly funny play follows two men navigating friendship, fear, and tenderness during the AIDS crisis. As the world outside grows more uncertain, their bond becomes a space of humor, refuge, and quiet heartbreak.

Lonely Planet is a deeply human story about connection, loss, and what it means to stay present with one another in the face of absence.

Featuring Brandon Samples and Adam Peal.
