Lone Star College - Montgomery Men of Distinction Program Dinner

The Men of Distinction Student Success Program at Lone Star College-Montgomery will be hosting its first annual dinner. This dinner will feature a panel of successful men of color who are both graduates from Conroe ISD and college. These men will share tips for success in completing high school, college and life after college. This event is geared toward incoming and current male students of color, their families, community members and LSC constituents.

Both incoming and current male students of color will have the opportunity to officially apply to Lone Star College and also the Men of Distinction Student Success Program in preparation to become a member for Fall 2022. This is a highly selective program that will provide students with professional development, academic success and mentoring, opportunities to attend leadership conferences, opportunities for scholarships, exposure to top transfer institutions and executive businesses that are seeking to hire more highly qualified men of color.

Lone Star College is dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote diversity, equity and inclusion as it strives to become a premier community college in awarding certificates, associate and bachelors degrees.
