Celebrated annually in December, this historic custom is an atmospheric event involving Christmassy treats and a singing line-up of a candle-carrying choir dressed in beautiful white gowns, with Lucia herself carrying a crown of light on her head… For many of us, the tradition, the sense of community and the festival atmosphere make Lucia an important day in the Swedish Calendar.
The LondonSwedes Choir, led by Choir Director Michaela Lundin, is back with two unforgettable performances on Saturday, 14th December.
This year, we’re thrilled to be joined by one of Sweden's most iconic voices and musical stars, Peter Jöback. We are happy to announce that Peter will perform at both events.
