Join handweavers Christopher McEvoy and Chantal Allen of VEVAR, Glasgow to create your own fancy.accent yarns for use in weave, knit or embroidery. You'll receive the materials and instructions you need to develop off-loom techniques — all tools for the workshop will be provided, but you can also add to your experience with your own materials should you wish to bring something along . No previous experience, or professional skills are required.

In this small group you'll discover the artistry behind this heritage craft, alongside the opportunity to see behind the scenes of the DYE WEAVE PLEAT kilt collaboration, in the exhibition OUR COMMON GROUND, on show at the art'otel gallery, featuring craft makers from across Britain, curated by SLOW WAYS.
