London 2050: Dreamy or Doomed?

For SXSW London, Truth Consulting is opening the doors to our new Shoreditch HQ, right in the heart of the SXSW buzz, for a hands-on scenario planning workshop.

The question of the session:

Is the future of London dreamy or doomed? And how can we help shape it?

London has always been a city in motion. But climate pressure, housing, mobility, work, culture and community are now shifting. So what kind of London are we building? Which future are we already drifting toward? And what must we protect at all costs?

SXSW London’s London 2050 theme explores the innovation, policy and technology shaping the future of the mega-city. Truth’s scenario planning method offers a practical way to do just that by moving beyond predictions and preparing for a range of possible futures. It’s a rigorous, creative method rooted in systems thinking.

Expect breakout groups, expert facilitation, lively discussion and practical tools you can take back into your own work. You’ll leave with:

· A practical introduction to scenario planning

· Fresh signals and insight on urban futures

· A sharper understanding of how brands can act in uncertainty

· A designed set of scenarios, shared as a takeaway output

Finishing at 5.30pm followed by drinks and canapes on our rooftop.
