Canterbury Voices presents the world premiere of Chickasaw composer Jerod Tate’s LOKSI’ SHAALI’ (Shell Shaker), a groundbreaking choral and orchestral composition narrating the journey of the Chickasaw-Choctaw migration.
Joining OKC’s nationally recognized Canterbury Voices will be award-winning American Indian opera singers. This semi-staged production of Tate’s new work will captivate the audience, immersing you in the rich cultural heritage of the Woodland tribes of Oklahoma.
