Travel to the French region of Loire Valley at Bartolotta's Lake Park Bistro on Wednesday, October 29 at 6:30 PM. Loire Valley, popularly known as the "Garden of France," produces exceptional wines due to its diverse terroirs, cool climate, and mineral-rich soils. For over 500 years, the Joseph Mellot family has been crafting wines in this legendary region, making Maison Joseph Mellot the Loire Valley's oldest family-run wine estate still in operation today. The wines produced by this historic house are as intricate and diverse as the region itself. Whether you're in the mood for a crisp, mineral-driven Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre, an elegant Pouilly-Fumé with its signature gunflint character, or a refined Pinot Noir that showcases the Loire's cooler climate, there is something that will perfectly complement the evening's cuisine.
For this one-night-only event, we are honored to welcome special guest Armand Mellot, a 16th-generation member of this storied winegrowing family, who has traveled all the way from France to guide us through his family's celebrated portfolio. The evening will feature four courses inspired by Loire Valley cuisine paired with five wines from Maison Joseph Mellot's cellar, each showcasing the breadth of appellations and grape varieties that make this region so remarkable.
Join us as we eat and drink our way through Loire Valley with the family that has been defining its winemaking legacy for over five centuries.
