Let's celebrate Juneteeth! It's probably the most important political event in American history, so seems like a great party idea!
The current plan is to watch an abolitionist movie or documentary in the afternoon, followed by a party proper in the evening.
We'll have appropriately themed cocktails and light snacks like hardtack bread (used as rations by Union soldiers during the Civil War)
Other ideas welcome.
