Lodestar Children's Services is holding a new event for Mental Health Month this year. We will be shutting down some streets in Babylon Village on May 4th and having our first ever "Lodestar's Wheels For Wellness". Participants pedal, skate, scoot, or stroll to raise vital funds and have fun. While most participants will be biking, we welcome skateboards, roller skates, scooters, any non-motorized wheels, and motorized mobility aids. (Walkers are welcome too!)Date: Saturday, May 4th, 2024 Time: 10:30 am
Check-in for the ride at 10:00 am
Location: Argyle Gazebo in Babylon Village (244 W Main
St, Babylon, NY 11702)
Registration Fee: $25 per adult to participate in the ride/walk,
INCLUDES 1 CHILD FREE. Your $25
participation fee will go towards your
fundraising goal. $10 for each additional child.
(Goes towards fundraising goal). Participants
may choose to ride/walk a 1.5-mile, 3-mile, or
6-mile path.
Program:
10:00 am: Arrival at Gazebo (244 W Main St, Babylon, NY 11702)
10:30 am: Wheels start rolling (Walkers and Runners follow)
11:00 am: Join us for a lively celebration at the Gazebo with 94.3
THE SHARK FM (hosted by DJ Orlando), food trucks,
vendors, games, and raffles! (OPEN TO PUBLIC)
12:00 pm: Honored guests speak
1:45 pm: Thank yous, honorees, winners announced
All are welcome to our celebration at the Gazebo FREE of charge.
