Bear started his career as a California Highway Patrol Officer, worked as a Paramedic for American Medical Response, and was a Firefighter with CalFire (Back when they were CDF) and spent the majority of his career in the Federal Fire Service. His heart was simply too big for only one badge!
It is recommended for all wishing to attend to arrive early, as parking will be first come, first serve.
Current & Former Members of the Fire Service, Law Enforcement, & Emergency Medical Services are highly encouraged to wear Class A or Class B uniforms, as is allowed by their respective agencies and available.
People wishing to help the family may do so through the GoFundMe set up at https://gofund.me/1436968a and we request donations in lieu of flowers.
Fire Departments wishing to participate by sending personnel are welcome to do so. Personnel will be included in the 'Sea of Blue' Arrival Ceremony.
Departments wishing to provide floral arrangements for the service should send them to the Church, with delivery occurring the morning of June 26, 2021, by 0900 hours.
