Locust Street Art Open House & Enrollment Day

Locust Street Art will be having an Open House Enrollment Day on September 5th, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Stop in any time during our open hours to learn about LSA, our history, our classes, and what you can expect when you attend. Enrollment will be open, and staff will be available to help get you set up. Our instructors will be answering questions and giving tours—get to know them before the start of the new school year!

Can't make it to the open house? No worries! Enrollment Day is NOT required to enroll and attend classes. This is an optional get-to-know-you event!

For over 60 years, Locust Street Art has offered FREE community art classes to everyone ages four through senior adult. Our classes are drop-in, allowing our students to attend when they want and for as long as they want. Classes are individualized—each student is encouraged to pursue their own goals and ideas through guided exploration. Classes are offered in Drawing & Painting, Ceramics, Animation, and Photography.

Additionally, all of our community classes have been and always will be FREE to attend, including material cost!

Locust Street Art is located in a historic building with eight steps to access our main entrance. A side entrance is available for students with limited mobility—this entrance has four steps to access our main hallway. We are currently fundraising to make our building more accessible. Please contact us if you have concerns related to accessibility so we can try to make accommodations. Limited free parking is available on the street.
