And also time for the last LocLunch Barcelona event of the year! And this is going to be a special one, as we’ll be welcoming some international guests.So who’ll be joining the local Barcelona crew?Well, we’re honoured to have:Jose Palomares, localisation director at fintech company Coupa Software, in San Mateo, California.Alvaro Montoya, CEO of Akkadu, next-generation interpretation platform, based in Beijing, China.Our two guests above are natives of Catalonia and now citizens of the world! Gary Lefman, senior globalisation architect at Cisco, from and based in the UK.Luz M. Sanchis, representing Multilingual Technologies, Santa Clara, California, and Master Translations, Xiamen, China. Luz is based in Valencia but is a truly global professional! Also joining us is Robert Rogge, CEO of Zingword, the recently-launched next-gen translation staffing platform. Robert is originally from the USA but has been living in Zagreb, Croatia for several years. Robert’s a regular visitor to Barcelona.

The venue will be Eroica Caffè, a bicycle-themed informal restaurant on Consell de Cent 350, which serves up homemade pasta and other Italian fare.

So don’t miss this special get-together which is open to professionals in the localisation, globalisation and language industries. And, of course, if you’re interested in global business, LocLunch is the perfect event for networking over a casual lunch or drinks. Será un evento muy especial, en el que tendremos el placer de recibir a varios invitados internacionales. ¿Quieres saber quién está preparando ya las maletas para unirse a nosotros? Bueno, pues ahí va:Jose Palomares, localisation director en la empresa de fintech Coupa Software, San Mateo, California, EE. UU. Alvaro Montoya, CEO de Akkadu, una plataforma de interpretación en línea de segunda generación, Pekín, China. ¡Ambos, catalanes que residen a miles de km de Barcelona! Luego tenemos a: Gary Lefman, senior globalisation architect de Cisco Systems, Reino Unido. Luz M. Sanchis, representando a Multilingual Technologies, Santa Clara, California, EE. UU., y Master Translations, Xiamen, China. Ya veis que Luz es 100% cosmopolita, pero es valenciana. Actualmente reside en Valencia, pero viajará en tren para unirse a LocLunch Barcelona esta vez. Y también vendrá Robert Rogge, CEO de Zingword, la plataforma del directorio y mercado mundial de traductores de segunda generación lanzada recientemente. Robert es de los EE. UU., pero para él Barcelona es su casa en Europa, aunque desde hace un tiempo reside Zagreb, Croacia.

El evento tendrá lugar en el Eroica Caffè, un restaurante informal ambientado en el mundo del ciclismo, que se encuentra en la calle Consell de Cent 350, y que está especializado en pasta fresca hecha en casa y en muchas otras recetas auténticamente italianas.
