Join us at West Virginia Penitentiary toCelebrate the Art Of Tattooing in one of America’s most haunted prisons. Built in 1866 this Gothic fortress was intended to lock away some of West Virginia’s most dangerous criminals. In its 129 years of operational history, this maximum-security correctional facility saw 998 documented deaths including 94 executions at the hands of the state’s capital punishment laws. This left behind a powerful energy that many believe remains behind these bars, and many say that the lost souls of these inmates can still be heard from to this day! The event takes place in the old License plate building that has been updated for trade shows!! Oddiities creators will be out offering their strange wares and some of the best Tattoo artists from around the Country will be tattooing during the convention with special guests from the ink master show Christian Buckingham and Emac. Also inkmaster Angels Joe Capone will be out tattooing!! You can make a appointment with contact info off the page and quite a few Artists will be taking walk ups!! There will also be tattoo contests and seminars! Tickets are 10 dollars a day or 25 for a three day pass online. Link on event page. Day passes are 15 dollars at the door or 30 for a three day pass... 12 and under are free!!
