The feeling of a warm ocean breeze at your back and jewel-blue water lapping at your toes… welcome to paradise. There are worse things in the world than getting stranded on a deserted island, but at least you’re not without some way to escape—that is, if you and your fellow beachcombers can solve the puzzles and find the treasure! On Friday, November 21 at Central Library, X marks the spot for adventure. Cast away all doubts and channel your inner Robinson Crusoe to make your way out of Locked Library: Island Escape!Doors open at 7:00 PM and the game begins at 7:30 PM. The event is scheduled to last two hours. While families have solved the puzzles and successfully escaped the Locked Library before, we recommend this event for ages 12+. All proceeds from this event support vital programming, resources, and initiatives at Calgary Public Library.
