In 2026, the Lock Tender continues our monthly tours of great beer, cider, (and occasionally wine) from some of our favorite regions near and far. Beers Of is our monthly excuse to slow down, taste thoughtfully, talk shop, and spend a proper Saturday afternoon together.

This stop brings us to New York City. The Big Apple is home to some big, expressive, and special beers and ciders, made by brands that set trends. These are taps and cans we love to pour, and we’re proud to bring them to Western New York.

Each Beers Of event features 16–20 distinct styles from a minimum of eight producers. Occasionally, we get the beer-buying zoomies. When that happens, there’s more.

There are no separate sessions—arrive anytime between 1–5 PM and enjoy the afternoon at your own pace.

Tickets are available at or at the bar. These events tend to fill up, so we recommend purchasing online.
