Friday, October 1st from 6-9pmMark your calendars every first Friday and make plans to swing by the Reeves House – we’ll have a featured exhibit in the Education Studio to promote and highlight the fantastic community of local artists, including tunes from local musicians!
It’ll be an opportunity to connect with and support the creatives we have right in our own backyard!
Current students will also have their projects and pieces throughout the classroom to help encourage lifelong learning and appreciation of arts education.
About the Artist & Event:
Landscapes, Portraits, Moderns.
Nadine Turner began drawing and painting at a young age, and was represented in a local gallery by the time she was a teenager. After art school, she worked as a graphic designer, and included fine art whenever possible. Many of her paintings are inspired by her love of nature, travel, and people. Creating from her own photography, Nadine captures emotion through the use of light, color and texture. Her works can be found in local art shows, as well as in private collections across the United States as well as internationally.
"I hope my viewers will recall a peaceful memory of their own from my subject matter, lighting, or texture. I want them to walk along the path with me, peek behind the door, be drawn into the snowy forest, or feel the sun beating off the ocean."
