Join us for Join us for food and 3 short films, followed with songs led by Tinderbox and 2 local community arts groups. In the first of four special events, we celebrate local activism, community spirit and solidarity through powerful stories and collective singing

6:30pm: Join in with our new song; Solidarity Wins: A Song for Greater Pilton, and other classic protest songs, with live guitar accompaniment.

This is a free event, curated by the NEA Film Group with Project Esperanza for Local Cinema Network's programme "LOCAL RESISTANCE" , which includes events in Wester Hailes, Craigmillar and Leith, September - December 2025
NB: these events are part of Art For Grown Ups' wider, Creative Resistance Project in collaboration with National Galleries of Scotland and Royston Wardieburn Arts & Culture Group. Look out for our exhibition at the Portrait Gallery in November, social history displays in the NEA Cafe and a Celebration event on 4th December at NEA
