About this Event
Join one of three in-person events being held on the new plan-making system. The new Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026 came into force on the 25th March and replaced the existing 2012 plan-making regulations. These events are designed for local authority officers who are currently progressing a Local Plan under the new system.
Hear directly from MHCLG on some of the key aspects of the new system, share ideas with other local authorities navigating the new system and make connections with those in a similar position.
Arrival and registration will begin at 10am (for a 10.30am start) and the event will finish by 4pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
As with all PAS events, this session is for a local government audience only. You will need a .gov email address to register, and registrations using non‑local authority email addresses will be cancelled.
Please note that we are prioritising those authorities currently progressing under the new system and we can only accommodate one attendee per local authority.
