Local History Talk - Members Meeting
Lost in History—The Mayaca Native People of West Volusia County. Author Brian Polk, former manager of DeLeon Springs State Park and local historian, will share the findings in his recently published book, which is an in-depth exploration of Native American history from Lake George to Lake Monroe. If you are interested in Florida’s rich Native American history, don’t miss this program.
Before the presentation, there will be a brief business meeting for members, during which the Nominating Committee will present a slate of officers and board members for 2025.
