Meet the Artist: Matthew Rose
Event Photos

A published photographer from Fredericksburg, VA; Matthew Rose found his passion and love for photography the moment he picked up a camera. Seeing life and objects through his lens in formations of art and beauty beyond the normal spectrum of the everyday sight.
"I remember when I was given my first camera it was like this whole new world opened up to me and I fell in love. When I lost my first camera, I used my phone I just wanted to be able to capture everything. I would wander and go around downtown taking photos of everything I found interesting, all the places, people, random things, I just remember being hooked...I didn't want to stop."

Meet the Artist: Moni C.W.

Event Photos

Moni C.W. is an emerging artist with a passion for recreating beauty seen in nature and life occurrences. She is a Virginia based painter who has been perfecting her skills in impressionistic modern oil and acrylic painting. She started out as solely an acrylic artist, however, now she has expanded into the medium of oil painting.
Art has always been a part of her life, getting awarded with the opportunity to post her art on a city billboard while in elementary school. Her passion has grown with years of interactions and experiences being intertwined within her brushstrokes. The colors seen in our everyday world are a source of inspiration as they blend together on a canvas to tell a story. This expression of varying elements of life, brings inspiration to her paintings and summons an emotional response.

Meet the Artist: Jamie Roberson
Event Photos

Jamie Roberson, a local artist, calls our lively little town of Fredericksburg, home. From a young age, Jamie discovered a passion for drawing, and until a few years ago, his art was primarily dedicated to meaningful pieces for family and friends. However, in 2019, his artistic journey transitioned from private creations to gallery exhibits and art shows for the public. This marked a significant shift in Jamie's approach to art, reflected in the evolution from drawings and watercolors to his current focus on textured, acrylic paintings. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, life's journey, an eclectic taste in music, and art, Jamie's work is a reflection of these diverse influences. Describing his typical style as "thoughtful abstract," he creates art for personal fulfillment, finding joy in the process and what his paintings mean to others.
