The community is invited to join the Abilene Public Library as we host a reception for local authors who have had a book published within the past two years. More than a dozen local writers will be featured at this reception where guests will be able to interact with the authors, purchase books, engage in a book signing, and hear presentations from each of the authors on their latest works. This event was a popular feature of the West Texas Book Festival of the past, and we’re happy to bring it back as a way to honor the talent we have right here in the Big Country.
