We're hosting local author Zack Schoppen for a reading and signing of his debut fantasy, The Midwizard of Cosconia. Tuesday, December 9th at 7pm at Cellar Bird Books. This free event is open to everyone—come join us!Zack is an OBGYN and women’s health advocate who believes women’s health and pregnancy are underrepresented in fantasy literature. His novel follows Izzie, a newly trained midwizard in a land where Maternal Magic once protected every mother and child—but now birth has become deadly. She must navigate fading magic, a looming war, and her own haunted past, all while making peace with a very annoying (and very attractive) wizard. Could the truth heal her dying land—or break it (and her) beyond repair?
