The Laramie County Library System invites the community to meet the creative minds shaping the local literary scene at the 2025 Local Author Celebration!

This event will feature more than 25 authors from across the region, making it one of the largest gatherings of local writers in southeast Wyoming. From heart-pounding mysteries and sweeping romances to inspiring memoirs, children’s stories, and Wyoming history, the Celebration offers a chance to discover a new read or reconnect with a favorite author.
The afternoon will be filled with opportunities to explore the region’s vibrant literary voices. Authors represent a wide spectrum of genres—romance, thrillers, science fiction, poetry, memoir, inspirational non-fiction, children’s picture books, and more. Readers will have the chance to meet and purchase signed copies from writers such as: Barb Gorges, B.H. Burgess, Candice Carroll, Carol Chapman, Cindy Keen Reynders, C.J. Robinson, David A. Bush, Gayle M. Irwin, Gina Holder, Guyla Greenly, Jennie Lawrence, Jessica Friis, Joyce L. Graham, Karen Cotton, Kirk Shamley, Kirsten S. Blacketer, Leah Angstman, Linda Burt, Liz Roadifer, Mary Gillgannon, Merissa Racine, Nicole James Kelley, Nicole M. Jaramillo, Olivia North, Paulla Hunter, Patricia B. Cirone, Phoebe Hinkle, Siobhan Muir, and Victoria Jaye, with even more names expected to join before the event.
