LOCAL ARTIST SERIES!
For over 10 years this seven-piece Classic Rock/R&B Band has rocked the NH, ME & Ma seacoast playing some of the Deep Tracks you don’t usually hear bands play, but love.
Founded in 2012 by Tony Blockis on guitar who’s roots in the NY music scene, played in numerous bands in the 70’s and 80’s throughout the tri-state area. In addition, as a recording studio owner, engineer, and producer he has worked with artists like Tommy Shaw (Styx Band), Richie Cannata (Billy Joel Band) along with Atlantic Records. Musical influences include Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Larry Carlton, Santana, Joe Walsh, and David Gilmour, just to name a few.
On vocals, harmonica and percussion, Paul Mackey has played with Duke Robillard & James Montgomery. Paul brings his
soulful vocals to songs by artists such as Michael McDonald, Gregg Allman, Delbert McClinton, James Brown, etc.
On keyboards, the talented local legend Scip Gallant. Scip was the original piano guy for Jazzmouth & Beat Night at the Press
Room for over 20 years, he also played with KD Bell, Sweet Roy Jones and Rosco Gordon (Godfather of SKA).
Raymond Sykes, “The Rev”, Mr. Funk himself, holding the band together on bass, has played with Luther Johnson, Sam McClain, Blues Party & KD Bell.
Rounding out the rhythm section, “The Cincinnati Kid” sensational rock drummer Roger Elkus keeps it tight
On horns, the soulful Clarence Clemons like Saxophone sound of Tommy Hoctor accompanied by the Trent Austin trained trumpet of Howie Singer make up “The TMB Horn Section” and bring songs from Chicago, Bruce Springsteen, Tower of Power, Average White Band to a new level.
