Loc Specialist Course

In this training, you will learn the fundamentals and the following techniques:

• Micro locs
• Starter locs
• Interlocking
• Loc smithing
• Loc maintenance
• Loc extensions/attachments
  

You will receive step-by-step guidance in an intimate setting for ample opportunity to get your questions answered. This is hands-on; you will get to work with actual models and walk away with real skills. No experience required.

You will receive a starter kit with the following:

• Combs
• Clips
• Needles
• Spray bottle
• Latch hook

All participants will receive a certificate of completion.

This training is led by Asura Imen, a master loctitian with over 20 years of experience. As a prior shop owner of a 15-chair barbershop and salon, she has ample knowledge of the industry. Asura has worked with thousands of clients with varying degrees of hair textures, lengths and volumes giving her the insight to help others maintain and grow their locs. She is the creator of Yes I Do Locs Academy, where she shares everything from technique to sanitation to legalities, and more.
