Our all time favorite (non-skiing) activity is back! The annual Little Rock Ski Club Lobster Boil.We've rented out the Big Maumelle Pavillion, at the Maumelle River boat ramp at Pinnacle Mt. State Park. It's a comfortable, covered pavilion with a fireplace.
For the low price of $40 for members, $45 for guests, you get a fresh, boiled 1.5 lb Maine lobster, corn, potatoes, drawn butter, and onions, and cookies for desert. Soft drinks, tea, water, and ice are provided, and you can bring your own beer, wine, or spirits. The veggie plate (everything except lobster) is only $10.
It's rain or shine, and we're asking folks to bring firewood, if you have any, to keep the fireplace roaring.
The festivities start at 4pm, and we'll serve dinner at about 5:30 to 6:00pm.
