For the third Lobby Lecture on Fashion, we're hosting Laura Fitzachary, a historian of art, fashion, and culture, for a conversation about how Irish fashion evolved and its impact beyond its borders.
Using six garments produced in Ireland but popularized across Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean, Laura will explore the economics, politics, and cultural shifts that made Irish fashion what it is today.

About Our Lecturer:
Laura Fitzachary is a historian, historical consultant, writer, presenter and host based in Dublin, Ireland. With a background in art history and working in luxury fashion, Laura has over a decade of experience working in the museum sector before spending some time in Paris working in fashion.
