About this Event
Bags of coffee and coffee shops are littered with labels and language that may be cryptic to the average person; attend this session to find out what some of them mean and how to distinguish what's important.
For example, what is the difference between “Fair Trade” and “Direct Trade”? Or “Bird Friendly” and “Rainforest Alliance”? Does “USDA Organic” guarantee better farmer land practices? We’ll dig into some of this material to try to make sense of it and how to use it when shopping for your next bag. The class will offer some coffees brewed by way of drip and Aeropress.
This is the third session of a series of 3 (Registration required for all three sessions or take one or two of them separately). Join Gary from Feedback Coffee for a journey through coffee.
